Returned from a warm vacay greeted by a messy hous

Returned from a warm vacay greeted by a messy house, a trip to the ER for Ford (8 weeks old with two respiratory viruses), running on 3 hours of sleep at night if I’m lucky, a cold for Vivie, bills needing to be paid, emails piling up in my inbox, and have yet to start any of my New Years resolutions... except one: letting go of perfection 💫
Those who know me well know I struggle with constantly stressing myself out over everything being perfect. A perfectly clean house, my to-do list perfectly checked off daily, perfectly dressed, you name it. But if these past few weeks has taught me anything, it’s that it’s OKAY to not be perfect. While my feed may be filled with pretty, happy photos, let me tell you— life isn’t always easy breezy! Being a mom is really freaking hard! I’m not perfect at it and it’s okay if you’re not either! So here’s to letting go a little in 2020 and showing you guys more glimpses of my ordinary days filled with toddler tantrums, mom uniforms, piled up laundry, frozen pizza for dinner and 3 am feedings while watching bravo tv 💁🏼‍♀️ I love these two tiny humans so much, & I wouldn’t change a moment about this crazy thing called motherhood •
